Don't be shame, discuss the game!

Rozee kicks that and they win by a point, would've felt very different there
We would've found a way to bottle it afterwards. The Crows would get a dodgy free someone in the back half, and then we'd drop our bundle and let them walk in a winner. Despite multiple opportunities to block it up on the way.

The deserving team won.

I’m not going to take moral lesson from someone who excuses sexual assault.

You pig
I'm not excusing sexual assault. I'm pointing out that it never happened.

Unlike the racial vilification from the Broken Hill Bogan. And the Crows celebration of his return.

Reminder that it was Eddie Bettes and his family that had to help the poor trainer out in getting that vilification dealt with after the Crows were trying to cover it up.

Adelaide fans rightly flat after that. I was yelling at the Crows to play more aggressively instead of trying to save the game. The backward kick by Millera I think to turn it over sums it up. No way Collingwood or Brisbane would grind to a halt and go full on defensive with 10 minutes left. Maybe 3-4, but not 10. Were just lucky Port were inaccurate cos they arguably should have won. Never rated Nicks and they won't contend while he's coach.

Still take the 4 points in a close one, which they rarely win. Their mids will have to play at their best to be competitive against Collingwood. Should really be playing finals and getting some experience at the very least.

Crows fans, always having to make things up to try and justify their own corporation's acceptance of shit behaviour.
Most ironic post of the week... given what your club has gone through.

Perhaps time to log off, as you don't seem to be coping well with the loss.

Cracking game. Just happy to hang in for 4 points.

From the club that threw bananas at Eddie Betts.
Or had a player that was sheltered by a club official for24 hours after a drunken car crash.
Get off your high horse.

Fox need to provide some subtitles for this interview with Keane, it sounds like he's speaking Gaelic with his thick Irish accent.
Said his Dad flew in because the game wasn't on back at home (it was - his old man must be a crafty bugger)

You probably got lost when he was referencing his club back home & mentioning the Irish TV stations. Sounds like the panel were pretending to laugh with him, unless they had a translator in their ear pieces.

Is someone just learning about 2025 Saturday scheduling now? Or is this a bizarre attempt at a Geelong whinge?
Sorry,I did not know every Sunday mid afternoon game was free to air.
My mistake.
Cracker of a game.

Agree. Our clearance work was woeful. What was different was that we found a way to win when we usually lose the games. We have finally got a do not give in attitude now that the team has embraced. Still have lots that need to be fixed bit compared to the last three years, this is good.

Initially I thought it was clearly 15m but watching the replay it went 12m tops.

Went back to rewatched this moment.

Wines kicked it on the line of the square and Georgiades made contact with the ball exactly 2 strips of the grass down. Each strip is 10m = the ball travelled 20m.

He held the ball until he hit the ground. 90% of the time that’s called a mark and having controlled the ball long enough.

Might not have had any impact on the end result and likely would have missed with his kicking but that was a key moment.

Better forwards and defenders. Problem areas for Port for years. It's amazing they've managed to finish top 4 semi regularly.

Am impressed by your pressure, its just the polish, which I think is developing. You need more elite ball users like Rankine, I really like watching Peatling. Just too many sloppy users. The defence probably the biggest improvement.

You should be aiming for top 6, but top 4 a real possibility. Maybe a year or two away from a genuine flag tilt with a new coach, couple of key players, bit of luck going your way. The field is open this year (we seem to say that every year nowadays). If you can match Collingwood in 23 when you were worse and they won the flag, no reason why you can't next week. Best of luck.

Yeah we've already talked about the banana throwing. You may have noticed but the club banned that person from membership and pointed out that it was completely unacceptable. But doesn't match your attempted narrative does it? You know, no celebration of the person guilty of racial vilification.

Jarman Impey wasn't sheltered by a club official. No one knew where is was until he turned up at the club 24 hours later. Its amazing how Crows fans always have to invent something to push their attempts at building a narrative that the PAFC is anything like the West Lakes Corporation.

I have been saying this for a long time but this game should be free to air.
It's a showpiece of the season.
Always a great game to watch.
Needs to be a standalone Friday night game.

They really should, but they've lapsed before under Nicks when they've had strong starts to seasons. Their last 15 minutes were abysmal, Port fortunately for them just suck at converting on the scoreboard which saved the Crows from choking.

Yep frustrating as a neutral. I like the Crows so I hope Nicks goes until he really changes things, but let's see what happens this year.

Thanks for that. Our defence, which looks a bit cobbled together and was once one of our big weaknesses is becoming a strength. If we can get Murray on the field consistency that will solve the main deficency, a lack of a big KDP.

We need some speed and a big body in our midfield, we cannot compete with the elite midfields, as shown by the way we were smashed today.

But are in the eight so all is good.

Has anyone mentioned that Riley O'Brien may have handballed to another Adelaide player while that player was out of bounds? Happened with about a minute to go, in the last qtr. Not as obvious as the Jeremy Cameron vs Collingwood but if you look closley the Adelaide Player recieved the handball while he was out of bounds.

I think it was Shakespeare who said, “Yeah, nah”.

There’s not a chance in hell it went 20m. By the time he stopped after his slide he was only about 6m from Wines!

He marked it about 46m out (first touch) and Wines kicked it from the edge of the centre square.
