Can mother nature settle the **** down and allow us to play a game?

Some forecasts are saying 37 now and it was posted on our board that the AFL Extreme Heat Policy stops games at 36+

I had a quick google search about the AFL extreme heat rules and I couldn't find it anywhere stating they will stop the game or cancel after 36+ degrees. I did find it in the VFL extreme heat rules however.

Here's what I found on the AFL Extreme weather policy.

Things might have got mixed up on our board then.

Everything should be in place for the players to be safe. No doubt there will be some clueless fans who rock up unprepared to sit in the sun for 3 hours

We are the quietest supporting group in the AFL what are you going on about ?

I must admit all of the Geelong supporters i know are quite humble. Certainly not in the "Feral " league which is quite unusual with being named "The Cats" ;)

Hey mate

Would this mean the afl would push the time back to the lare arvo instead of an early arvo game?

Time has b.. all to do with the AFL, broadcasters are numero uno.

Geez 37 degrees, I think the AFL can work around that. Player rotations, ice vests, garden hoses etc, should sort it out.

Would be nice to turn it into an evening game, but that aint going to happen.

Player welfare should come into affect and they push the times back

I'm tipping Freo in a close one. Geelong will be a top four contender, but I think they'll have a slow start while they figure out their midfield mix.

I think you might be right regarding them figuring out the mid mix. I do however think Freo are 1 quality mid short this week without Young.

This game for me is a 50/50

I hope Bruhn's finger injury doesn't keep him on the sidelines for too long.

Gun young player.

Geelong by 31. I don't like that Young and Bolton are out for Freo.
