Interesting the size difference in the players. It was quite noticable - all the Adelaide players looked jacked and built. St. Kilda players still looked too skinny and in desperate need of a gym and another two pre-seasons.

Only saw the highlights, but great to see the Crom up and about. Ranks doing what he does, Fogs and Thilthorpe both beasts, like more mobile Pluggers. I tipped them for top 8 this year and hope they won't disappoint. Expecting 5-8 and winning one final.

Mark Ricciuto is horrible as a commentator

Just way too negative all the time.
And he sounds very critical all the time especially at the Crows the most even when they are winning pretty easily and playing good.

Nope Saints are playing better Ricciuto thinks and crows are up by 44 points

He's awful. He's always been insecure about coming off as biased and he overcompensates by trying to build up opposition sides even when it's totally ridiculous to do so. Just look at today's game. Multiple times he said St Kilda are still in this when it was clear to everyone it was a demolition.

He also just has a horrible sounding voice and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a microphone.

More than serviceable. A little on the rusty side, but still managed 20 touches and a goal (could've easily been three), and will continue to build. Will prove to be a very good pick-up.

Since moving to AO in 2014 I've never heard anyone comment on the shape of the ground.
Listening to Lyons presser he brought up the "interesting shape of the ground" comparing it to GMHBA, both being "So Skinny".
I had to look it up, to make sure the Aliens hadn't dropped him at the wrong ground.
Sure enough AO's nearly 10 meters wider...you absolute man-mushroom!

I was there and he was great in his debut for us. Is going to be really important for us. Loved his game. Looks like a perfect leader/role player, and I feel for Melbourne losing him.
