Wouldn't want to be the tigs next week, tippin an absolute smashin from Port over the tigs, which will make me happy.
It would be classic port to fire up against the wooden spooners.

Can Collingwood be reasonably considered a contender?

Again, I know it's just one game, but their success has always been off the back of sytem, not personnel.

Their flags in 90 and 23 are absolute cannot deny were far from the best list in it. Even 90 was borderline with Essendon at that time. At the time you'd consider Essendon had the better list, not by much but by enough.

Will concede they had the best list in 2010, even then there was this other side called Geelong which was very close, not to mention a very capable St Kilda team, probably very close also.

R.I.P Port's premierships window. 2020-2024. It has likely closed and they could be a genuine bottom 4 side this year after that performance, being beaten by a Collingwood side that got smashed by GWS a week ago. You can already see the smoke coming from the coaching "transition", from Houston's trade request and from butter's injury. Thanks for reading my overreaction to r1.
