Carlton aren't done, it's a long season. We lost the first 3 last year. Funilly enough gave up a 40 odd point lead vs Carlton in Round 1 too...

That's a horrendous start though.
But we were fancied as a good side last year

Richmond were not, and we were again

This is way worse than your loss

Carlton supporters were so arrogant all summer and this is such a massive reality check. They just aren’t that good and are 2 wins from there last 10 games now. Could easily finish bottom 4 with no first round draft picks! 🤣🤣🤣

I just woke up from this nightmare that we lost to a bunch of boys who just got their first pubes. Oh wait..

It's the same story to varying degrees every year for decades.

All talk and no walk. They have achieved nothing.

morris + cotton on + Joel Selwood? ;)

Brown and Trainor also with club connections, reckon the Cats will get at least one of them eventually
Zero chance of that, they are a very tight group of youngsters at Tigerland and very committed to the cause.

Somehow i have managed to have a lot of friends who are Tigers supporters, (poor misguided fools;)) they had no confidence going into this game and were just hoping they were not going to get flogged. That of course should've happened, but Voss is not yet the boss of the Blues and they have a lot of problems. The Tigers may not win many more games, but they will be more than a headache on the odd occasion this year. The Blues on the other hand will struggle and have no one searching for the panadol!. Lalor, Trainor, Blight, Armstrong, Mansell are good players.

Kingsley, Mitchell, McRae and now Yze with you boys have proved new blood is often a better policy than recycled goods
Carlton have a culture of going for saviour players and coaches. It's a shallow, lazy way of trying to win without building properly. The easy sugar hit, and in a time of salary caps it's beyond stupid.

Yet their fans eat it up year after year. A champion team always beats a team of champions.

Loved the look of Lalor, Campbell and young Trainor down back. Dare we say some nice "green shoots" at Tigerland

How does Sam Walsh have 25 touches and no impact. Saad- ‘Woof’ followed by ‘oh $&@?, another turn over’, gold.
Sam Walsh was about 60% fit last night. More a coaching issue then anything. He should have been the sub and came on at half time kinda thing if Voss was desperate to play him

Looking back at the team named and you gotta wonder WTF Voss was thinking. Firstly Lewis Young has to play. Putting Cripps in the ruck steals your best midfielder away anyway so you can play Nick Haynes whose cooked as cooked can be. Play Young in defense and have him follow the 2nd ruck into the middle.

Secondly, in what planet is Ashtoin Moir not ahead of Francis Evans. He showed a bit last year IMO. If he cant get a game ahead of Evans he should have been delisted last year... even if under contract

The problem was run out of defense and now its even worse. Zac Williams should go back into defense and figure it out. Trying to handhold the guy cos you dont wanna hurt his feelings and giving him the easy way out is shocking coaching

Lastly if your game plan of losing a forward is to not bother playing another forward til he gets back, your structure is probably going to fall apart. If Curnow is out, Silvagini plays CHF. I dont really know why that one wasnt a day 1 obvious move

Voss to me is a good man manager, a shocking coach and last night shows it. No plan B
