He should have retired a one-team playerHard to make a call on a 1 game sample size. And knowing how stacked and hard to get into that Giants backline with Taylor, Buckley etc. But last night he just looked horribly out of position and form. Here are some telling stats. 4 turnovers, 3 pressure acts and 0 tackles. Would want to put that game behind him like all his team mates.
It's a shame he is out for the rest of the season, I thought he was sensational for Richmond but they won't get to use him all year now.Nick Haynes looking good

In fairness to Carlton they won on expected score.
If one of our players attempted that they would get injured and be out of action for 3 months. That gymastics routine will go down as the most expertly applied trolling seen on a football field this century.
The round 1 overreactions both ways each year are always humorous. Carlton will still be up there and you blokes are a young, inexperienced outfit that will probably tire and finish bottom 6 but the narrative straight after the games this time of year is funnysettle settle Tigers.
Haven't beaten anyone good. Also, Carlton were missing a player.
Sure we love a come from behind victory, but, its just round 1 (or zero or 2 or whatever the F)
Its probably too early to talk about another FLAG![]()
Never been happier to get it so wrong in my lifeBest poll in the history of big footy
Never been happier to get it so wrong in my life
Thankyou
This sums it up preciselyI believe the quote goes, "Hard work beats talent when talent isn't willing to work hard"
When you have back surgery at such a young age, due to being overworked and pressured to play under duress, a fast decline is inevitable. I feel sorry for the poor kid - another star ruined by Carlton’s negligence- just Kruzeur. How does Sam Walsh have 25 touches and no impact. Saad- ‘Woof’ followed by ‘oh $&@?, another turn over’, gold.
Suns against the Swans in 2018 is on the podiumHave to agree. Can't think of a more epic h&a uoset than this one. Maybe the miracle on grass?
Maybe not quite there yet?any less than a 200 point belting and it's probably a sign we're not quite there yet
Maybe in about 12-14 years when they match Geelongs age profile.
Earlier this century Hawthorn pretty much had to lose to Richmond to win a premiershipIf we go by last year, the first team to lose to Richmond ends up making the grand final. So congrats Carlton!
People know you're not the oldest list in the team now lol, or I hope they do. It's just fun sometimes to still say it. And I gathered that they were talking about Geelong's list a few years agoThe age profile that's not in the top 4 oldest in the league? And where 5 of oldest 9 players are borderline best 23?

Jokes?Geelong are going into tomorrow with less 30+ year olds than Richmond had on Thursday night.
“Geelong Old” jokes are about 3 years out of date. Conveniently, those jokes got “old”
