They play different roles. Also Cerra is 25 and Kennedy is 28. Kennedy wanted more midfield time, while Cerra is happy to play wherever we need him. Kennedy wasn't shifting Cripps out of the side, and Hewett is also having a great year. I'm not sure why people want to nitpick over this. Desperate to find a side to slag off at.

The Bulldogs run Bont, Libba, Richards, Kennedy, Treloar (when available), Freijah and Sanders through there. 6 or 7 rotations. Why do the Blues only have room for 3 or 4?

Kennedy still rotates forward for the Bulldogs anyway. He's a mid/forward who hits the scoreboard consistently. Carlton could do with one those.

Amazing. That might have been about a quarter of their team’s total disposals! It’s not like getting 50 out of 470!

When Greg Williams did it in 1989 for instance his team had just 300 disposals.

Bailey Dale is one of those mediocre mid level players that look special when playing with A grade guns like Bont and Liberatore. If he was drafted elsewhere into a worse setup he would not be anything. So many players, so many careers, make or break depending on what situation they get drafted into.

Pretty tough on Dale. Not sure if you've spent much time watching the Dogs, but he's one of the Dogs most influential and crucial players. Finds the ball at will and uses it better than almost any in the comp. If he was playing for a "big" club, he'd be lauded far more than he already is.

Ever since Brad Scott chose not to tag Nick Daicos to begin Anzac Day, I've questioned his ability to coach. Beyond stupid. A great example of being stuck inside the footy bubble and not being able to make basic footballing decisions.

Could be that you struggle to explain yourself very well. We say Kennedy wasn't as good as Cerra as a defensive midfielder, and you retort with Kennedy being recruited as a defensive midfielder. Well, he wasn't with us and wasn't good at it with us. Others here are saying he is a forward/midfielder which is what he was at Carlton. I haven't seen where he's playing defence with the Dogs. Maybe he has, but he's also getting forward and kicking goals.

A midfielder/forward with pace ... absolutely. A Kennedy-style midfielder forward ... not really as Cripps is playing that role if you hadn't noticed. Pace ... P A C E ... we need it. Kennedy wasn't going to address that. Sheesh. You can lead a horse to water ...
