With all going well on the training track this week and with the ins for the Pies as more ins then outs i expect a big win for the pies in this one.
Only real out is Shultz.
Pies could even afford to rest de goey another week and possibly Nick daicos on ice for a week.
With all things accounted for.
Tipping a Pies win in the tune of 42 points.
Time is over due for say a good 6-7 goal win.
Weathers ok a few morning light drizzle patches in the AM then clearing for the game and coolish 16 degs.
Should get a fair turnout as well with say 75k at the MCG.

We seem to match up ok on the Woods, has been some cracking games over the past couple of years between the clubs.

Last 4 games decided by a goal or less each time.

But Collingwood IMHO are a step above most other sides. I think they'll win by 5 goals.

Adelaide and Gold Coast are the 2 attacks I think we match up the worst on, not sure we have the cattle to keep all those talls honest.

Billy Frampton going to be up against it as I imagine he’ll get big Riley!
Should be a great contest, I rate the crows one on one defenders so if they can restrict us from getting it out the back and quick through the guts it could spell trouble!!
Building a premiership caliber footy team IMO, they just need a little more confidence to be able to deliver close to their best consistently.

Reckon they may be due as it’s been awfully close as others have said and we have probably had the rub of the green in key moments!

With all that said… Pies by 25 😁

We have...yet we've always come up short

Don't think I could take another loss by less than a goal.....

Going to have to be prepared for it. Luckily we won the showdown by a kick so nothing is impossible. But against the Pies, very different story. They are a side that never messes around and attacks hard in clutch moments.

Regardless of where we have been on the ladder recently, we seem to give Collingwood a good game and I think we will again. But if we allow the Daicos boys to have 30+ touches each, we will be in real trouble as the pies forward line is much more potent than Port's and we just squeaked over the line against them. I see another narrow Collingwood win - I hope I am wrong and we can pip them this week..Nicks needs to put it on the midfield after a poor showing on Saturday to respond.
