One of the biggest issues is the fact that commentators don’t know the rules and don’t call out bad umpiring.

The ducking epidemic would’ve been over 15 years ago if the commentators and media actually put pressure on the AFL. Instead, they see an arm around the neck and assume it’s a free.

Oh they do. Howard and Lyon have been whinging every second Pies havent got one.

David King whinged about the Pies losing to the Cats because of umpiring.

Last week Reid came in to man the mark on Trezise, didn't touch the ball and Trezise just fumbled it and got a 50. Crickets.

Ed Allen gives the most obvious of 50s away and Lyon sooks.
