Any result from this game is commonly regarded as a Win/Win from the perspective of a Collingwood supporter.
Why the GWS fear? Just memories of round 0 or is there something else I’m missing? I love me some orange team but they’re looking less like a tsunami and more like a backyard splash pool at the moment

They match up well against the Pies and their best is good enough to beat anyone.

I'd rather not have to worry about them in September.

Carlton’s recent form, with two wins in their last three games against GWS, gives them a slight edge. Weitering and Saad should handle GWS’ forward line. Playing at Marvel Stadium favours Carlton’s fast-paced style. Blues by 5.

Blues will have to start all over again i think end is near for the Voss era there i think they will enter some dark years now
Doubt it. With Jagger and Walker the next year we have two more top 3 picks. Plus countless other NGA and father sons. Dean and Ison are both in VIC squads this year as well. Then the next walker is coming a few years later and he’s better than Cody who just had 31 and 3 as an underager.

Carlton may well be down this year but they have barely any players over 30 yet. In 5 years time our average age will catch up to Collingwoods age this year. Plenty of time.

At our best in Melbourne (which is sad to say at the moment that we can’t play away) we are matching it with top four teams like Geelong. We’ve lead EVERY game this year bar 1 at 1/2 time or 3/4 time. We’re just struggling to keep momentum late in games. It’ll come.

Anyone know why 12:35?
AFL are trialling double headers. This game and the Collingwood/NM are being played in the same arena. Its weird and unusual, but thats the AFL for you.

Geewizz ... this looks like a potential train wreck on top of earlier train wrecks for one of these embattled clubs. I sure hope it's not for my mob ... fingers crossed!
