Man Sam Mitchell was so chummy before the match. 'we've got a plan in place for Zorko, for Neale, for McCluggage, for Ashcroft'. what plan was that Sam? You let Zorko run on his own for 2 hours. 29 kicks. lol. Neale had 32, McCluggage had 24 and 2 shots on goal and Ashcroft had 26 and 1 goal.

He definitely was getting ahead of himself thinking he was the next Clarkson or something. Horrendous coaching today.

The game where Melbourne had double the free kicks to half time and couldn't get pinged for ball? You got one shocking decision - get over it.

Right back at you. You weren't saying anything when your club have been advantaged 4-6 goals per game in the last month. Extremely rich to be talking umpires now. The reality is, the hawks are a 4-6 goal worse team when the umpires are neutral. And a 8-10 goal worse team when the umpires go against them. And Nick Watson's production suffers because of it. Newcombe flopping like a silly salmon the last month too. Embarrassing and that's on Sam Mitchell to set standards. He didn't and the hawks got exposed. They'll bounce back in the home and away season but as soon as the umps swallow their whistles in the finals, they'll be a 5-10 calibre team.

The carry on from Mitchell after the Hinkley incident last year was piss poor. He basically said Ginnivan couldn’t handle getting mouthed off to by a grown man. It was incredibly soft. Now whether that’s Mitchell being a sook or him protecting sensitive Gen Z or whatever they are, I don’t know, but it looked so pathetic when all we heard for months was HOKBALL.

I think Hawthorn need to firm up a bit and realise that dishing it out means copping it back. That’s inexperience everywhere, including Mitchell.

The irony of that whole thing was that I actually gained a bit of respect for Ginnivan, because it didn’t seem like he really gave a sh*t. He took Hinkley’s jab in stride and laughed it off.
