Phew! Got away with that game. I thought we were actually going to win it which is absolutely not what we want to be doing this season. Lots of promise from the Tiger Cubs.

On a more serious note, shattered for Cal Ward. The stars aren't meant to go out like that. The game can be cruel

Once Kelly warms up, Cogs and Callaghan are back then that midfield group will be more capable.

Hopper, Taranto and Prestia mauled your boys around stoppages.
When we get Lalor,Armstrong and Lefau back.

What on earth does that have to do with the midfield battle?

The Giants struggle there in general. At the very least they need Callaghan and Coniglio back. That's their team's Taranto and Hopper.

Richmond's mature midfield taught them a lesson: Nank, Taranto, Hopper and Prestia.

Im seriously happy with that result. We didnt get smashed and didnt win. Kids showed a lot again. It would be stupid for us to get out of the bottom 3 this year

Thanks for confirming my suspicion the tigers tanked that game! What a joke, full. Forward didn’t even try to compete!

We didn’t tank.

We just didn’t have enough petrol in the tank.

Hopefully majority of supporters in the AFL aren’t happy with the spoon or draft picks when the chips are down.

I was not happy with today’s loss.

How old is he? If he returns it probably wont be until late last year. Guess it depends. I hope not if he wants to go on.
His wife and kids are living in Melbourne.
There is no way he goes around again.
He has been an absolute champion for that club and footy in general.’
Couldn’t meet a nicer guy. Gutted for him.

I’ve seen enough of GWS to rule them out as a contender.

Aside from the win that was a genuine pathetic performance by a team that’s fallen over the line in so many home and away games but when it comes to close finals they can’t handle the moment.

I also wasn’t impressed that it took a Cal Ward inspirational speech to wake them up.

I also think losing multiple b+ players in Perryman, Cumming and Peatling is hurting them.

An unacceptable performance by GWS and well done to Richmond for an un unexpectedly competitive performance. I dislike the saying but there was a bit of Richmond losing it rather than GWS winning it.

I think you're confusing fans' wishes with the operation of a football club. I'm sure they wanted to win. They'd have not put themselves in that position in the first place if they were tanking. And there's a body of work all season to show we don't have 4 quarters in us. But as a member, I want picks 2 & 3 (I've given up on 1) and winning won't get them those when clubs like Sydney are playing like they are

Footy can be cruel sometimes.
Was a terrible moment for Ward and his family ( very end of Judd career moment).
fingers crossed for him that there is another chapter.

Livid about the loss, but in a silver lining it's probably the outcome we want - show some fight and potential without taking the points.

Still...can't help but be furious. That was our's for the taking and that 28pt QT lead should have been 50+.

You can see they ran out of gas completely.

Miller dominated Hogan - genuinely shocked at this.

Very sad for Ward.
