Caddy did some nice things and shows great promise, but Kane's glowing assessment as the competitions most exciting player seemed way over the top
You seem a bit envious.

Bombers at 85%? Essendon team last night had 7 of its best 22 out, and 4 players with 13 games played between them.

Going by that, you must be extremely bitter GWS doesn't do the same thing to get at least 85% capacity going.
Your a day behind schedule.

*Reigning premier Lions with almost zero injuries, defeat undermanned Bombers missing half their side, by 3 goals.

Fixed it for you.
We have injuries, at least 5 best 22 players weren’t out there last night.

Bombers were plucky but I wouldn’t read too much into that performance like the kangas posters did a couple of weeks ago, we haven’t shown up against the lower sides all year

Of our 12 injuries, 9 have been best 22 when we were healthy and 2 were fringe. We're already a bad team and should've lost if both teams were fully healthy, but we also lack depth to top it off.

Not reading into the margin regarding our 2025 outlook (as you mentioned, Brisbane play down to lesser competition this season), but I'm reading into it being a massive step for the future prospects of our youngest players.

That’s fair, anytime the youngsters have a crack is a positive. You showed against the pies you can match it with anyone for periods and that’s really all you can ask for at the moment
