Dogs need to learn how to defend and how to execute their game when under pressure. No point being just a good attacking team, a good defense will always beat a good attack. Much easier to stop a goal than to kick one. Still a mid-table team for mine. Well played Hawks, you brought the pressure and it was enough.

Geelong pretty much showed the template how to beat dogs and Sam mitchell copied it tonight.

Dogs cant handle it when sides manicly press up to stop their handball chain. The game plan doesnt work Against quality sides who clamp you

Add to that the number of hawks that were given 10 minutes to dispose of the ball ina tackle. Meek with at least 2 after taking possession at a ball up.
