Cheers. It's a bugger to tell how a player played looking at the stats on the site, but MOC seems to get plenty of the ball. Suppose Mullin is still learning the position, but he never looks not busy when I see the Cats play.

With so many taller, stronger and experienced bodies missing from side you guys are forced (instructed?) not to kick to contests which ultimately results in turn-over after turn-over. Personally, I don't agree with the strategy, especially for the amount of times that it's done as you guys are far to inexperienced and nowhere near as skilled to do it. Best to keep it simple with far, far less turnovers.

In 2001, I saw Essendon run over us. Behind me were two guys in their mid-20s who had obviously picked the Bombres in the 1980s.

They talked about how they had to aim for a threepeat in 2002 to make up for not winning 1999. They traded lengthy insights with each other about how Sheedy and Essendon had modernised the game

I was at that game too. Had flown down from Brisbane to watch us knock the Pies the previous week but went into this game without much expectation. They destroyed us early but we came back and held our own. I went away very up-beat - it felt like this group was building.

Took a little longer than I would've liked - and had to endure a few more years of watching the Brions smack our team around up here - but it was worth the wait!

No doubting Nat Caddy is a real talent but he's only 193 cms and against a guy like COS who is at nearly 200 cms and just as agile, in future meetings which you'll think there'll be a few he won't find it easy against him.

Not to all their key pillars in the backline and both main rucks. It's killed any sort of structure and affects the game plan when you don't have the best players to carry out the game plan. The guys out there are trying but don't have the talent yet. Too much inexperience. It's why you can't really judge Brad Scott this year until he gets the cavalry back.

Mate there about as young as Richmond is most weeks out there. And it's come unexpectedly so have had to scramble to find players to make them competitive. Laverde is basically their 3rd-4th choice key back and he's playing on arguably the best player in the game. He was no chance yesterday the way the ball was moving forward. Teams are going to cash in ATM knowing it's not a strong team they are playing.

Caddys real strength is his running power. The hope in a few years is that he just gets up and down the ground and actually rewarded for that running. At the moment we don't have the skilled players behind the ball to make it work so we just bomb it to him which is not what his best is.

Back than though they were actually a big 4 club who played finals most years and won flags. These days you don't hear that sort of talk from a fair portion of supporters. I'd suggest it's more your mob of supporters that have a bit of smugness about them and rightly so. Easter Monday I sat amongst a group of insufferable flogs who were very happy with how Geelong is going in general so it's not just exclusive to a particular supporter base.
