All due respects mate there arent too many household names in amongst that lotRidely,Redman,Reid,Mckay entire backline is missing.
You then add both our main rucks in Nick Bryan and Sam Draper out for the year
Langford who is a handy 3rd forward
Most teams will struggle with that many of their main players missing and filled in with a bunch of kids
This wasn't a game against Carlton though. The defence was basically a bunch of kids and players outsized by 20cm. Kind of similar up forward. The first half was pretty good and then the game got away from them.95 points I say we were pretty farking horrendous performance like today shouldn't be accepted

I've been to many games in my life. Including victorious finals. Ever been to one of those? LOL!12
Because I know it kills you.
Go to a game for once in your life.
Sitting around a table chanting “ kanga kanga kanga, Roo Roo Roo “ does not count lad.
They got to close to it, and fell offWhatever happened to that "Essendon Edge?"
I though the first half was more of the same. This wasn't a game against Carlton though. The defence was basically a bunch of kids and players outsized by 20cm. Kind of similar up forward. The first half was pretty good and then the game got away from them.
Yeah I wouldn't get too carried awayThis wasn't a game against Carlton though. The defence was basically a bunch of kids and players outsized by 20cm. Kind of similar up forward. The first half was pretty good and then the game got away from them.
The inexperienced and depleted Bombers weren't that bad. Yes they were scrappy with the ball and got overran as the game went on, but what did people expect? Geelong have the forward line to punish teams that are up against it.
4 premierships, which is n.melbs total.I've been to many games in my life. Including victorious finals. Ever been to one of those? LOL!
What else you got?
They tried. Their fitness, speed, strength and skill were several levels lower. 10+ goals came directly from turnovers that made their defensive shape look terrible.I would expect effort at a minimum
What were they meant to do?Well done Geelomg, beating up a bunch of teenagers![]()
Probably should have put in the ol Sydney in a GF type effort to give the Bombers a chanceWhat were they meant to do?
Thought they were slaughtered in the midfield too.Yeah I wouldn't get too carried away
Nice to put foot on throat but they had no backline
Yep. O'Connor patrolled and rebounded between the arcs with authority. He's using his running power offensively much more since Tuohy retired.Be right in saying O'Connor had another decent game, Mullin so so?
I know you are. It's called air flight.
thanks for confirmingI know you are.
thanks for confirming
Cheers. It's a bugger to tell how a player played looking at the stats on the site, but MOC seems to get plenty of the ball. Suppose Mullin is still learning the position, but he never looks not busy when I see the Cats play.Yep. O'Connor patrolled and rebounded between the arcs with authority. Mullin struggled a bit on Merrett at times.
