If we can win this, I'll believe top 2 is achievable.

But (redacted)thorn are very good in Launceston. I have this as one of our 3 remaining losses this home and away season.

Game of the round for me.
Feel like Adelaide learnt a lot from their close victory against Brisbane. As a supporter, I those type of wins compared to a 2-3 goal victory.

If Riley Thilthorpe plays like his debut game against Hawthorn in Launceston - Crows win
If Riley Thilthorpe plays more like his second game against Hawthorn in Launceston - Hawks win

this should be a great clash, down in tassy two teams who are bound for finals.
hard to tip clash

Never confident in Tassie. Anyway, do we normally see many Friday night games in Tassie?
Hawks v GWS game was a night game (Sat night).. night games are rare enough. I believe its the first ever Friday night game in Launceston.

Really stops the travelling crowd.. Saturday afternoon/night allows for people to pop down for the weekend without impacting work

Hawthorn should win this.

How many good teams do Adelaide beat in Victoria, Tasmania or Antarctica? I'd say it's pretty rare. Carlton under the dome last year is the best I can think of. This week is going to be the opposite of a game at Colonial Stadium.

6 weeks ago would have said Hawthorn. But with the hardening we’ve developed in being able to overcome midfields like Brisbane’s in crappy wind and rain, confident we can win this week.

Worpel fine to play a full game most likely, Watson back and Scrimshaw a chance to play.

I’m confident hawthorn win. Matchup well and have a few more strings.

Time for Battle/Barrass/Scrimshaw to earn their wages and try to keep Thilthorpe/Walker/Fogarty quiet

Wouldn't say you overcame their midfield they completely dominated for large portions of the game in particular the last 15 mins. We broke even with arguably a better midfield the night before. That won't be where you win it's whether we can contain the 3 amigos up forward which I think we can as we are 1 of the only teams that have tall depth in the backline.

I think Adelaide are clearly in the better form, but the question is whether it's enough of a difference to counter Hawthorn's home advantage.

(The answer is - and I'm firm on this - I don't know)
We got a bit of our mojo back last week particularly on the pressure side of things. If we bring that sort of heat again expect it to be a grind similar to the Lions game for you guys last week.

Id say both teams play a similar style when up and about. Fast transition to open forward lines. Crows playing more that style than we are it's whether we can find a bit more of it to match them.
