The AFL is a Michael Mouse Competition - as long as the big pigs (clubs) have their snout in the trough, the rest of the runts can waste away and feed on the scraps for all they care.

Even in 2018 we had a lot of Sunday arvo games so its not just about how good you are. Same with any non Vic sides. The big Melbourne clubs hog most of the Friday and Saturday night slots and marquee games.

Premiership coach versus a Prelimary Final coach. Could be interesting to see if Lyon's Life Negating game style can Muzzle the doggies Effervecance, or like a farmer choke the life out of a chook.

I'd like to see the Dogs get their Mojo back, I can see them troubling the top sides later in the year if they can get wins now. Hope Mr Darcy has a good game, he makes Doggies Dangerous. Plus, he's fine young Gentleman.
