But the G suits us when it's dry. We play there better than marvel because the width and length gives us a chance to exploit teams with our run.

That's our main point of difference against most teams.

Winners get bragging rights and always have and the saints - even in defeat at the Cattery last year - are a side who seem to have no real issues against us at the moment.

But it’s unlikely that any ‘emotional’ response is going to be coming from a game that ultimately made no difference in the context of our season, relative to a loss that ended it a game short of the grand final.

We are unfortunately a team who if we get a few injuries to our midfield we crumble quickly as it becomes a 23’s and under midfield like on Saturday with jhye Clark, holmes, knevitt and SDK in their at one time.
