Our fortunes? What would they be? Sounds like trolling.
I hope you’re trolling as if you think the use of the word ‘fortunes’ in that context (which is just a reference to how they’re travelling) is some sort of disingenuous reference then you have a bit of a comprehension issue.

We're better than we have been but still clearly not there yet. Worried about Sheezel, looks like he's carrying an injury.
He’s finished the last two games really strongly. His work rate is top shelf.

I feel he’s struggling a little with the intensity in the middle. I doubt it will be long until he’s back to playing at his usual level.

He knows where to go to pick up a possession but he doesn't have his usual dynamism around the ball or clean disposal. Just clearly down on his output from last year, looks like he's carrying something with how slowly he's getting up from contests.

I'm refining my most impacting player. Today's game was a test and featured unbalanced results, so no balance between stats. 1 point for anything of impact. I did the stats based on my own observations but will compare with actual stats after the game and balancing stats. Goals be worth more than a score involvement.

5. Soligo (Easily best)
4. Thilthorp
3. Walker
2. Larkey
1. Rankine (Was looking on fire in the first but largely inconsistent throughout the game)

ANB, Simpkin, LDU

The saltiness towards the Crows is quite funny.... and bemusing.
We've been such a vanilla side for the entirety of the 21st centry, bobbing up once a decade to meekly threaten, but ultimately fall short.

I'm only used to being hated by Port supporters. What have we done to become relevant enough to warrant this level of discontentment?

About what I expected. North were competitive and showed some good signs, but lacked polish. They'll win 7-9 games this year, definitely heading in then right direction.

What's going on with Sheezel? Has been off the boil so far.

Anyone who strings wins together and becomes a potential threat always receives this treatment. Take it as a compliment.

Wasnt a great game today. Windy conditions probably played a factor.

To be fair. Larkey played very well against a really good defensive line up. Norths other players really didn't hit the mark enough. Simpkin was their next best. Daniel looked good on stats but really didn't do anything impacting, just a heap of half back kicks that didn't impress on the play.

I'm about to collate my data with my formula so we'll see how it goes. I'm just not sure if I'm doubling up on stats. Is a kick at goal from outside 50 counted as an inside 50? Don't want to double up on data.

I'd rather be like Brisbane last year. Doubted week in week out, just enough doubt to run a muck in finals. Hawks are peaking early. One can only hope they drop off.

But we've strung... three wins... in three games, and it's not even April. We've done nothing. The hate makes no sense at all! 😂

Our performances are like the antithesis of those coffee cakes from Drakes. People love them and I don't get why! 🤣

Fog made to look absolutely stupid about six times now since he carried on like a flog.
He needs to remember his place as a bog average forward that no team respects or fears.
Yikes. Coming from a West Coast supporter that's quite amusing.
He would be your captain and highest paid player. Anyway, shouldn't you be spending more time in the drafting part of the board and not here?
Maybe you can posting about how you desperately need to get Daniel Curtin.

Got to find a way to win these kind of games if you're Adelaide, and despite being a bit off-the-boil, they never were seriously challenged by the Roos. Sure, occasionally the game drifted into the two goal margin, but it always felt like Adelaide stepped up a gear for a few minutes to kill the momentum. Solid victory, really.

You have the midfield, and FOS looks like a gun. You just need some good forwards.
Their forward line isn't too bad, there's worse around. Larkey, Curtis, Zurhaar (although he was invisible today), and Konstanty looks like a nice inclusion, they just lack a genuine crumber. Their defence is the area that needs the most work, and some more polish in general, but that'll come with more experience.

I think we have some very good forwards (Larkey, Curtis)

We have some bad ones (Zurhaar)

Darling has been really good so far but obviously not a long term solution.

Konstanty has been pretty promising, every side needs that workhorse type and he has that dog in him.

Agree on FOS, he might be the best of the lot of our kids tbh.

Actually think the defence went quite well tbh. Much better than expected. Someone like Thilthorpe is capable of winning a contest against anyone once or twice a game. Most of the goals came in transition or overlap rather than a defender getting done cold.

We’ve invested in defence. Will Dawson just needs a bit more match fitness. He’s the long term matchup size wise for the Thilthorpe/Darcy types

Whitlock despite what we’ve supposedly overpaid, may prove to be a bargain tbh. He looks a special special talent down back. He will be in the side very soon on early state footy form.

Crows must be coached by Joel Selwood, it has just been four quarters of ducking everytime a North player is close by.

It's about time we went to the Joel Selwood school of how to be tackled good.

There are two types of clubs in this world, the ones who try to push to the limits of the rule book, and those who are victims of the first group.
