Super impressed tonight. Tough fought win. I wanna go to the Lions Port game but i don't.

BOG for Ashcroft.

Really like composure and kicking from Fletcher in the last moments

Need do tidy up fwd entry and hit up.targets instead of blazing away from 55

If you think there were 6 or 7 BS frees in the third, you're wrong sir.

We were first to the ball all quarter in slippery conditions.

I can't think of many that weren't there. Just a sloppy and undisciplined, nightmare quarter from the Cats. Completely self-inflicted.

If I'd been offered that final score at the start of the game, I would have thought, a win would have been nice, but at least they had a good crack. But to throw it away with such an unacceptable third quarter makes it a bit harder to swallow.

I was waiting for some Jeremy Cameron magic to get us over the line, instead he seemed to just amble around at 75% for most of the night, including what looked like a terrible (non) effort where we could have created a marking contest which directly led to one of Brisbane's sealing goals (I think Zorko's from memory). Instead he left Scratcher Neale to do all the hard stuff when he should have been making the Lions pay.

Positives I thought were that most of our lesser lights showed genuinely good signs and overall it was a great effort. Even in the third quarter, I don't think you could fault the effort; it was horrifically unpolished and undisciplined, but they were still working hard.

Blicavs is no longer underrated, and he is still underrated.

Brisbane just swamped us tonight in the end. Like sinking into concrete or something.
Was also disappointing in the few occasions in the second half we did have run through the middle there were no targets up front. This was the first game where the absence of Hawkins was really clear. If Cameron is happy to move up the ground who is our consistent key forward up front you cant hit out in front every time?

Well said MC.

If Bailey Smith is your best midfielder you aren’t contending.

When you are shouting that it’s a loss that Tanner Bruhn is out….its a very thin midfield. Max Holmes is their best one though comfortably

Imagine supporting an AFL team that isn’t the Brisbane Lions.

We’re just so… great.

Yeah, the "work in progress" setup was very clear, especially after Neale was hobbled (why not take him off?)

Every few years you see a game where your team just kicks to intercepters on the wing over and over and over and over and over and over again.

Haven't seen one as bad as the third quarter in a long time.

Long way to go yet.

My team usually gives me a lot of hope only to crush me in finals. Least I've got nothing to crush me this season.

Careful there’s still a chance Ken stays on next season lol

Bailey smith was genuinely good for the lions today. Geelong players had nfi what he was doing most of the time and he distressed their system and structure.

Was good to watch.

Chris Scott speaking in the after game presser.

Rolling out the old "A few things went against us", just like last week which he won't elaborate on but it's never Geelong's fault.
