I worry about the deep psychological scars these floggings can be inflicting on the poor young Tigger players. If the Tiggies aren't careful their youngings can suffer the same fate that the Suns did when they recruited mostly teenagers in the Top 20 with a sprinkling of senior players in their first decade or so. Belting after belting generally begets failure, no matter how talented the youngsters are.

Both sides are young but our older players were better than Richmond's and our younger players have a few more years on Richmond's.

Either way, you'd say St Kilda's prospects over the next 4 or 5 years look much better. Maybe Richmond will overtake them after that.
