not really. it was horrendous the whole night. Why talk about the game when they were the main factor.Do you do anything other than whine about umpiring, you idiot.
Geelong will lose their next five games and its season over.
you lost me when you used the free kick count as a measurement. come on now. I'm not saying we were better. but the game was a 1-3 goal difference. the rest was umpiring. And so what about the uncontested possessions. Stewart and Humphries aren't doing damage with the chippy chip.Mate, it wasn't the umps. Free kicks were 22-17. Not a huge difference.
If you want to know why you lost Melbourne went at 32% inside efficiency. That's absolutly woeful.
They also allowed Geelong to have 266 uncontested possessions.
Basically, Melbourne were garbage in their front half, and played bruise free footy when the Cats had the ball.
ignorant comment. we have been rebuilding. We literally have had 4 first rounders in 2 years. It’s over Danny, rebuild time
not really. because the umps were a 6 goal difference. 6 goals added on makes it a 3 point Geelong win. And that was about where it was at. And some of the Geelong goals were pure fluke, lucky bounces of the ball. I mean, Melksham literally marked it clearly before the goal line and they go 'nah'.We played poorly, Melbourne gave a good account of themselves but almost had their score doubled.
Time to go full Richmond for the 2025 draft.
I’m a bit worried with all the knocks he’s been getting this year so farDANGERFIELD ageing like a fine wine.
ignorant comment. we have been rebuilding. We literally have had 4 first rounders in 2 years.
And as if I need to be told this? I would've traded Petracca the moment he wanted out. He's killed the culture. Or at the very least, made it worse.
yeah, Stewart did so much damage with those 15m chip kicks.Cats broke the record for most uncontested marks of all time.
But nah it’s clearly the “uMpIrEs”
I’m sure if the umpires were on the Dees side of things like a certain someone here claims, we could see another 50 inside 50’s to Zuthrie and O’Sullivan lol

you know we got Xavier Lindsay right? You just traded your first to Essendon…you have no first round pick this year lol
Good asset building from the Dees front office

Speaking of which. Pickett gets hit with an 18m mark inside 50m, play on. I saw about 20 Geelong kicks that went shorter and it was paid. These things happened all night and you can tell by the amount of neutrals posting saying so during the game.
Except Humphries and Stewart were third and fifth for metres gained. Whinge more.
AFL really needs to crack down on these late outs, Scott has been doing it for years and it's not fair on the fans
Pardon my French, but you are speaking out your arse. All week Scott was coy on who was going to play - "illness" is an extremely unlikely coincidence and he's got a track record with this stuff. It needs to stop for integrity with fans and team selections.
They took 7 kick-ins...maybe watch the game instead of burying your head in stats. Stewart had 0 impact on the game. Same with Guthrie. Humphries was ok. All the chippy chip stuff did nothing. Melbourne's highest metres gained was May and Bowey....coincidentally the 2 guys that take kick-ins.Except Humphries and Stewart were third and fifth for metres gained. Whinge more.
