They took 7 kick-ins...
u realise that distorts their metres gained right. Take 200 metres off Stewarts metres gained, then tell me where he sits. I'll wait.defenders? Huge if true.
They took 7 kick-ins...maybe watch the game instead of burying your head in stats. Stewart had 0 impact on the game. Same with Guthrie. Humphries was ok. All the chippy chip stuff did nothing. Melbourne's highest metres gained was May and Bowey....coincidentally the 2 guys that take kick-ins.

Which Geelong players carved up Melbourne the most tonight? They took 7 kick-ins...maybe watch the game instead of burying your head in stats. Stewart had 0 impact on the game. Same with Guthrie. Which Geelong players carved up Melbourne the most tonight?
O'Sullivan, Humphries, Dempsey, Close and Danger for me. Gramps, Brad and the kids.
We already picked a "potential all timer" in Lindsay, who cares who Essendon pick in next year's (apparently very compromised) draft?Dons now potentially pick up an all timer in the top 3 instead

Not sure why Geelong fans are getting chirpy, we got done by North by ten goals lol. Y'all are about as much a premiership threat as we are right now.

Don't know if this makes sense, but whilst Melbourne may not have been particularly good, they were no ot easy to play against.Very scrappy win
you didn't tell me where Stewart would've landed in the metres gained stat if you took away his kick-ins. Stewart didn't hit 1 risky corridor kick all night. Mr. Chippy chip. Yes, Stewart is a good kick, but doesn't mean he goes for them.I did watch it. A lot more recently than you. I watched the nrl first and waited until it was finished and then watched the replay.
Both players mixed their usual volume of small and long switch kicks with small and long direct kicks.
As did Guthrie.
aside from, from memory, one uncharacteristic turnover from each of the players you mentioned that went straight down the throat of an opponent, each of them did what they have all done what they always do and hit targets and instigated plenty of forward movement.
Stewart is generally the most reliable kick we have aside from Miers.
You’re a joke mate

I don't think any of them did. It was a neck and neck contest most of the game minus the umps. I'd say for Geelong, it was Danger, Bailey Smith, Dempsey, Miers. Cameron looked dangerous but was gifted a lot of questionable frees which bailed him out so I didn't put him down.Which Geelong players carved up Melbourne the most tonight?

437m minus 200m for kicking = 237m which places him 26th on the ground for metres gained. So don't quote a silly metres gained stat and not expect to be called out for it by someone who is willing to break down the stat and make Swiss cheese out of it.I’m not a GPS mate. Work it out for yourself. Why does he have to take corridor kicks to make you chubby? We scored against you perfectly fine going wide from start to finish.

Pardon my French, but you are speaking out your arse.
Blicavs before tonight had played 273 of 295 matches since his debut. If he's out and they say its illness, then its illness. He barely if ever is injured.
You have a really poor understanding of our great sport unfortunately.I don't think any of them did. It was a neck and neck contest most of the game minus the umps. You're missing my point.
I don't actually believe he was ill. I am saying that Scott has a track record of this type of thing. Whether it be tactical or not disclosing an injury until the very last minute.

Why should "fans and team selections" mean anything? Clubs shouldn't be buying into the needs of "fantasy" footy . . . It's a fake commercial construct when the real commercial construct is winning games of AFL and finishing as high on the ladder as possibleAll week Scott was coy on who was going to play - "illness" is an extremely unlikely coincidence and he's got a track record with this stuff. It needs to stop for integrity with fans and team selections.
And who cares? Why does a "late out" matter so much to these numpties? Get the win - it's all that mattersPardon my French, but you are speaking out your arse.
