The much maligned Highins is really a fabulous player with serious footy smarts.

Higgins is a very clever small forward.

I’d say games where Higgins looks to pass early are directly correlated with his good games. When he looked in board for Max Hall, it just meant he was on for the day.

If he’s just taking selfish shots from the boundary line you’d know he’s going to do it all day.

A good day for him today. He’ll chase & tackle & pressure and get rewarded.
