Can't see the crows winning especially rachelle and prob tex out (managed) . Suns are in the best form of their history. Midfield group now has alot of experience. They look very strong

Should be a ripper between these two up and comers. Home ground for the Suns and one or two key outs for the Crows tips this in Gold Coast’s favour, but it would be one of Adelaide’s finest wins if they were to get up.

Suns by a couple of goals

I want to believe but I have been burnt every single time I have before.
Genuinely think it’s different this time mate. There’s something about them I can’t quite put my finger on but they don’t seem like the flaky Suns teams of years gone by anymore.

As long as you and I never bet on them they might be alright 🤔

But I agree, it feels very different, yes we've only beaten Melbourne and West Coast but both games felt a lot more ruthless than anything we put up before.

We just need to back every opponent they play against and the AFL will have its first ever undefeated season*

It's going to take several more wins before Suns fans start to feel confident going into games like this. I remember seeing the same thing with a few of my friends who are Lions supporters back in 2019 when they climbed up the ladder. Clinching a spot in the finals was when they all collectively started to believe, but individually they had varying times of when they started to believe. I think the earliest was around round 7 when they had a win-loss record of 5-2 from memory. So I think we've still got at least a few weeks to go before people really start to believe this is permanent improve and not just a flash in the pan like we've seen in the past.

As for this game, Adelaide's strengths seem to be Jordan Dawson, Izak Rankine, Ben Keays and their three tall forwards (Thilthorpe, Fogarty & Walker). If we can get on top of Dawson, Rankine and Keays in the midfield then I think we're every chance to win it. Our tall forwards should be too much for their considerably smaller backline and I back our in-form backline with tall defenders Collins, Andrew & Uwland to contain Adelaide's dangerous forward line.

Matt Rowell will probably be the key to victory. If he has another blinder then it's going to be VERY difficult for Adelaide to win.

Anyone want to have a crack at what the crowd will be for this one? I know there’s no big-drawing Victorian team involved, but it promises to be a cracker so I hope there’s a great turnout.

Adelaide should be a big-drawing team on the GC. Less SA imports than Vic ones, but spread across less teams to support too.

Crows don't draw crowd on GC. Last year game it was miserable - 11,466. Hence for this game members can bring a friend for free.

Sat midday is also not favourable time. I feel for people sitting in East stand while sunny, 28 degrees and still humid. Scheduling games in QLD early in season at midday is plainly stupid.

My guess crowd will be just over 15K.

Fair, although that game last year was played in a monsoon from memory? So that would have played a part in the low number. Hopefully 15k is about right and a few more than that turn up if the weather is good (forecast is touch and go at this stage)

If Tex plays - Crows to win.

If he is rested - GC to win.
I don't believe Tex will will be the deciding factor, Rachele is a huge out aswell but this will be an awesome game. Proper test for both teams. If the GC midfield are on then it will be hard for Adelaide to contain them
