What if he kicks a point? So let's play out this hypothetical situation and give the Crows every benefit of the doubt. 1:45 on the clock and Rankine gets paid the mark/free kick. He likely goes for the snap from the boundary about 40m out (although I have seen him slot a drop punt from that pocket of the stadium) and he takes his allotted 30s before kicking truly to put the Crows up by 5 points with approximately 1:10 on the clock. Now what? 6-6-6 in the middle of the ground and it's been a seesawing affair back and forth with both teams kicking quick response goals in the fourth quarter. Could the Crows have held on from there? Of course, but IMO the Suns were just as likely to go down the other end and kick a goal to snatch a 1 point win after seeing the back and forth nature of that fourth quarter.
The point is, even if you give Adelaide the benefit of the doubt with all the available information we do have, you CAN'T definitively say the Crows would've won. I'm not totally convinced Rankine would've even kicked the goal if I'm being honest with you, but I'm not going to attach my opinion to that because it's speculative. Just like it's speculative to suggest Rankine would've kicked the goal and the Crows would've hung on to win with approximately 1:10 left on the clock after a hypothetical Rankine goal.

You got so angry about it the other day that I thought the least I could do was calm you down with examplesMove on. No one cares.
Maybe the shit umpiring gave them 6 more shot on goals given the shit umpiring clearly gifted them 3 goals. You were unlucky with the umpires but overall Gold Coast were wasteful and the better team.
Bloke who constantly shit posts on a public forum/message board is surprised other people have read his posts .. okGod no.
I just find it odd that someone I have never interacted with, or even noticed before is very interested in me.
It is not flattering, it is strange.

They have been full "CFL" since that goal post decision against Sydney, so a Northern club getting a dodgy decision was always likely to spark a few meltdowns. So let's play out this hypothetical situation and give the Crows every benefit of the doubt. 1:45 on the clock and Rankine gets paid the mark/free kick. Assuming Rankine uses his full 30s allotment before kicking the behind, then we have posession of the ball with scores level and approximately 1:10 on the clock. Could the two teams then pin the ball for 70 seconds and cause a draw? Yes. Could Gold Coast go down the other end and score a point/goal to win the game? Yes. Could Adelaide cause a turnover and score a point/goal to win it? Yes.What if he kicks a point?
No 6,6,6.
Crows pin it in f50, turnover, another point is scored.
No 6,6,6.
Siren goes.
With 1.35 on the clock Crows didnt have to win the game off Rankines boot, but they might not have lost it had the correct call been made.
No wonder people ignore you. Stop mentioning me and quoting me. Move on.You got so angry about it the other day that I thought the least I could do was calm you down with examples
You seem a little calmer now.
We all know that isn’t true. After rewatching I am even more satisfied with the outcome.
Rankine who? Wouldn’t get a game for us now.
Then pay it all the time you clown. He ran no further than anyone else does. That is the pointRankine running too far? He ran 25 metres you absolute pancake. That was proven to be a ridiculously correct call.
You can tell someone is a biased flog when they’re complaining that their player who ran 25 metres without bouncing was hard done by.![]()
He absolutely did. They gave him 10m leeway before calling it.Then pay it all the time you clown. He ran no further than anyone else does. That is the point
Did he technically have possession? If not he can't be tackled.
It's either a mark or illegally interfering in a marking contest. End of.Or did the suns player knock it out and that's why his arms were there?
