should be a old school hawks v cats monday classic clash.
could end up a coin toss

It is a Day where the Hawks fans will demand Moore from the players. It will be a Battle and they will need to Nash their teeth and get down to business. If they put up a Meek performance and act like a Dear in headlights, then for Scrimshaw they will need to Ward off a Frosty reaction next week. It would be time to write a Blanck check to Harley Reid. Maybe a trip to Sicily to get away from it all...

I have concerns with this one. I expect us to put in more of an effort and would be shocked if we let the cats get on a similar run to the power. But I expect to lose this in a close one.

At home?

Wet weather football will play into the hawks gameplan ..hawks by 5 points

If Geelong can't beat Hawthorn by more than 5 goals, they are not a serious contender in 2025. Kenny gave all opposition teams the perfect blueprint, it's up to C.Scott to draw inspiration from it and beat Hawthorn by more.

We are a young side this year so I’m not expecting us to be a serious contender anyway …it’ll be a welcomed suprise but we do have consistency issues which comes from young players

Still far too early in the year to be calling any teams a serious contender just yet …and that’s the only serious response to any of your posts every again

Back to ignore

Brisbane and Geelong are the two top contenders at this early stage of the year.
I love you too ;) :)

Jokes aside, I think we're too tall in the backline and our midfield too thin to properly replicate what port did to Hawks.

And while we always will have a bit of intrinsic motivation to beat Hawks, I'm not sure we're as driven as this guy:

Jeremy Cameron went to the school of Hulking up

This one will be a ripper.

Cats looking good while the Hawks will be smarting from the touchup they got.

Reckon the Hawks jump out to an early lead (15-20 points) before Geelong reel them in and win by less than a goal.

A year ago Hawthorn's side was 1.5 years younger on average than Geelong's and they had 9 of the least experienced 13 players by games played.

Fast forward 12 months and if neither team makes any changes Hawthorn will be slightly older than Geelong and Geelong will have 8 of the least experienced 9 players.

It's an amazing shift in 12 months.
