I reckon we will still be up and down and struggle to put together consecutive good weeks, particularly the kids off a short break.

Demons probably a touch too good and pull away to win by 30-40, they seem to have the wood over us in this game, but I reckon we'll be competitive again and make a good effort for about 2 and a half quarters.

Melbourne’s scoring efficiency will decide the game. They will likely win the midfield battle and the inside 50s so it all comes down to whether they can score. Our defence is all but at full strength so should be a good battle.

tige's look gasses out after that 4th quarter, while the dee's ran out the whole 4 quarters.
quick thur nite turn around could be huge for both..
looking forward to a Anzac contest

Couple of weeks ago this was a meh game now it may have a bit of spice!
All seriousness though, love this game no matter where both teams are at.

Tigers by 14

This game is always a spectacle, where the onfield play is always secondary to the spiritual celebration of the pregame ceremony. It will be an interesting game, none-the-less, for both sides, as they try and see which versions of their teams will show up.

The Dees have been putrid to start the year; unable to kick goals, struggling to ignite their engine room. The last week, Pickett single handedly turned their fortunes around, inspiring the rest of the team with his determination to pressure and fight. Petracca, Viney, Oliver and Gawn the driving force.

Richmond, on the other hand, have been rising, stuttering, falling and rising again, in a see-sawing season driven by a mixture of mature aged rigor and youthful exuberance. Last game, it was our backline that acted as a rock, holding out against wave after wave of desperate final quarter Sun's attacks. Vlaustin was incredible but he was allowed the freedom to intercept by the backing of Balta, acting team anchor. This week, that support will be missing.

I'd love to see a close game all over the field, but this game will come down to how our defence holds up against the Dees forwards. Too many entries and the damn wall will crack and eventually break though.

I'm looking forward to being there.

Balta is a big miss, particularly since his cover coming in is a debutant.

Dees would probably have won regardless, but would have been more interesting.

Tipping Dees by 30-45, still don't think we're up to consecutive good weeks, and the short break will challenge some of the younger guys, but a great experience in front of a big crowd.

It will be a interesting game tonight. A Melbourne Side who have come off a big win and a Richmond side who handed the Suns their first loss. This could go any way

This is really stress free viewing

Rebuilding Richmond in year 1 playing against an under pressure Melbourne thats expected to win by 50+ points
If we win fantastic if not great watching kids develop and see what they have

Melbourne 40 points
Keep expectations low and dont get disappointed

The Club and supporters should be very happy with the win against the GC - almost as happy as round 1!
