I don’t mind it as it gives me the Richmond line, but this is atrocious from Melbourne. Should be a 9-10 goal win but this quarter has been pathetic.

Will be interesting to see them play anyone but a flaky Freo away, and a bottom three team.
eh its junktime

I've said this in other threads the umpires are clearly directed to try maximise scoring so 50/50 calls in the backline get paid play on because it's exciting, but a kick going into the forward line they're generally lenient on.
I'd agree with that. But it just makes another rule farcical.

Gawn just killed the tiges once again (well played max)
some poor umpiring that totally favoured the dee's was again on show for all to see.
Richmond's kids again did well especially Dow who was great...kids just ran out of gas.

No they didn't.

Yes their third QTR was the difference but they aren't in good shape.
They absolutely did.

Third quarter ramped their pressure up, ran way harder and moved the ball with urgency.

With the game in the bag they then rested Gawn for half a quarter and cruised to let Richmond get some junk time goals.

Melbourne are not a good side but they didn't need to be tonight. Did enough without having to sweat.

AHAHAHAHA 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Listen to you.

They won their second game. Their second.

Your moronic narrative doesn't change that.

Not sure why you need to revert to an emotional meltdown consisting of an emoji landslide and an insult.

They played AFL standard football for 1 quarter and cruised for the rest. I'm not saying they are good. But the junk time stuff meant literally nothing. Enjoy your evening.

Smart move by Melbourne to rest in the last quarter. Maybe some handshake agreement with Adem Yze to keep the scores tight.

You pulling out all the typical, banal stops. You do this so often. You love the drive by stuff don't you?

You know what? If you tell yourself the Easter bunny did turn up at your house last weekend it's ok for you to believe that... but it doesn't make what you say objectively true just because you say it.
