Tonight proved it, Max is still the best ruck in the league. I’m definitely biased but it’s truly incredible what he’s doing at his age.

Will go down as one of the greats. Excellent intercept marking tonight, something he's been doing very well for a long time now. I can't hate him even though he towelled us up again.

These are the types of games I hate the most. The 'better' team isn't interested in going full tilt and getting a percentage booster, so just bumble along in 3rd gear for most of the match. And the 'worse' team isn't quite good enough.

So we get the whole game with the margin hovering around 15-30 points. We don't get either the spectacle of watching a good team pile on the goals, or the excitement of a close finish. It's just.....there.

Tigers supporters would be happy that this is another game they kept fighting right to the end, though. And that all their old blokes are still doing so well for them.
