Away games against 6-12 teams are the ones we really seem to struggle with. A win here will really show that we're making some progress even if Freo are out of sorts at the moment. They'll respond better because no doubt they'll be copping the heat back home.

Our much maligned defence kept them to 4 goals. Max Michallaney currently in AA form

We play pretty well interstate - not against crows recently, granted .

Non VIC teams travel much more - you’d think they’d have it down to a fine art after 20+ years doing so.

Tigers were 1 win 5 losses out of Victoria in one of their flags.
It’s only every non vic team that has to win away if the want to win a flag

I think Freo match up quite well with us.

With Fogarty out, I feel Pearce will take out Walker/Thilthorpe, and the other wont be able to win it on their own.

Will need the midfield to play another great game to win. Certainly doable.

If everything goes right for Adelaide, 5 goal win. If everything goes right for Fremantle 10 goal win.
What do I think? Freo by 1-2 goals.
