Dear lord, I know we probably say it every year, but f*** umpires have ruined football.

They are shit but also get given a garbage set of rules to try and implement.

Most contests you could easily find multiple free kicks either way depending on how you want to apply the interpretation.. and I think that is completely intentional by the AFL.

When he was at Hawthorn, he clearly was our best mid in many games, and our most classiest player, but somehow our midfield kept sucking with him in it.

He gets caught holding the ball too often, and rarely breaks away from a stoppage.
