A lot of commentators have GWS in the top 4. They do have quality all across the paddock.

A lot of commentators are poor. Top 4 perhaps, but not earning a home QF.

I think the genuine top 2 contenders are Collingwood, Brisbane and Hawthorn. GWS closer to Fremantle, Bulldogs, Adelaide, GC type teams. Hard to say which group Geelong fit into yet.

Yeah they, like GWS, would be a chance of slipping into 4th with a good run. I don't see them earning a top 2 position. With Footscray that would be irrelevant anyway as they get no genuine home finals. If they make it, games against Collingwood and Hawthorn would be on the cards. Or the death sentence of Brisbane at the Gabba.

Cogs is just a good solid citizen now, compared to in his prime. Callaghan has moved past him.

If Treloar matched his terrific 2024, it releases Bont forward more often and along with Darcy that would give the Dogs serious fire-power.

I wouldn't expect Treloar to get anywhere near his 2024 form but he does give us a bit of speed on the ball which we desperately need. It's why we were so keen to get Ed Richards in there.

We do run a 3 player rotation through the wings too, currently we're using Harmes/Williams/Davidson but Treloar would give us a genuinely pacy option there too.
