Not sure why the Kanga's have been so poor of late but we shouldn't be losing to them at home anyway. Based on current form, anything less than 10 goal win can be considered a loss for us.

When North put up a pretty decent fight vs us and when Port were struggling, I thought North were a good shout to finally break their AO drought here. How quickly things can change.

Port will jump out to an 80-point half-time lead before winning by 40.

I can't see anything under a 70 point margin. 150+ is possible in the event that Port's somewhat dubious forward line takes full advantage.
Carlton showed how easy it is to rack up monster scores against North if you win the middle. Port possibly have the best midfield in the comp.
Port to rotate a little, go into cruise mode making themselves vulnerable to the upset, and win by 85.

North should be coming out breathing fire and finally win for the first time at AO

We won't though as we have soft players and no the effort required and it will be anywhere from a 35-65pt margin.

I wouldn’t be totally shocked if we lost. We have shown ourselves to be capable of being terrible this year and NM will occasionally life.

No idea what’s happened to North. When they demolished Melbourne I thought they were finally on their way.

They have to find something here or it will get as ugly as people are predicting.
Nothing has happened. It is where North are still at. Melbourne (apart from last round somehow) can't score, and therefore can't punish teams with no ability to defend (in defence or in the middle).
They are primed to be vulnerable if the don't completely dominate the middle.

Any other side that can come close to drawing level with North's not yet great midfield should win by 10+ goals every time. Sides with particularly weak midfields are mostly those North can be competitive against on a good day.

I think all of the above was probably a fair explanation in the last couple of years, but I’m not sure it still washes now. They should have progressed enough not to be losing to a side like Carlton by 80+. The drop off in a few weeks since the Melbourne game seems pretty alarming to a neutral.

You know your side better than I do though.

Port Adelaide in a fairly pedestrian 3-5 goal win I reckon.
We’re not that good and North aren’t that bad.
