They have their own dedicated thread to Essendon, you obviously don’t get the depth of the hate they have for us. Ask them, they’ll tell you.
It’s their GF.
Okay, fair enough then on that point. But I stand by it not being mindblowing when a really pathetic club has a losing streak against a middling one. They probably have some pretty big losing streaks against other mediocre (but not awful) sides.

Agree its not some huge achievement but I think it's the second longest winning streak in the league atm

Clarko for me gets alot of this blame . His selections are bizarre. They are not picked on form or merit, just on who he likes or doesnt. He doesnt move players to a new role if they perform poorly also. Once you are named, thats it. It even goes as far as those he drops. Instead of trying them in a preferred role he just drops them.. They cant stop run of HB in any way and so best thing to do is the smallen up the forward line by dropping 2 talls and only going with Teakle. Bring a actual small forward in too like Harvey

IN : Logue (play at FB on FF) , Fisher (give him 6+ weeks on a wing), Wardlaw, Teakle (a actual 2nd ruck, play for rest of year), Harvey
OUT: Darling, Maley, Archer, McKercher, Dawson

No chance Clarko does this though. He decided certain players will play 22 games at Round 1 and a few of those players run around like they know this is the case....

Not picked on form or Merrett. Very clever pun there. Apt.

Neale and Cripps are champions but it's still crazy to think they may end up with 4 more Brownlow's than Selwood, Pendlebury, Bontempelli, Petracca and Merrett combined.

Yes because the Brownlow is probably the shitest award in world sport. I can't think of a worse individual award.

Even in Australia, AFLCA and AFL MVP are all better.

12 in a row against them and we have been an absolute rabble for most of that time. Must drive them insane.
& what a win it was - one for the ages…

Tired Work GIF

Can see the value in Parker and Daniel, but there's surely no way Jack Darling holds his spot.

That game was begging to be won by North! Tom Powell choosing to bomb it from 60 over the easy option and then falling over from a perfect Xerri tap is the stuff that just kills you.
Darling literally looks like he's running in treacle! I haven't seen him get more than a metre of seperation on his opponent all year

Are you David King? Honest question.

If he was, he wouldn't be a Richmond fan.

He hated Richmond for a long time after he went there as an assistant coach and after one year didn't have his contract renewed and his coaching dreams were shattered.

The hatred has probably faded over the years, but he clearly spent a long time hurting over that one.
