Nasty stuff.

I see it as win-win. Richards and Freijah are thriving. Smith is for us. We got a good deal on him but the Bulldogs list is still loaded with high end talent.

He was just being cheeky to wind people like you up. Don't get sucked in so easily! If you do, he's already won the battle.

Nasty stuff is continually getting ****ed over by "the big clubs" and the AFL.

I don't mind losing him if it has to be that way, but the health of our list is completely irrelevant to trade compensations, and to watch every prick on the planet insist "he's only worth an end of first-rounder" and then have people like yourself come in and say "thanks, he's literally won us 3 games out of his first 7", smacks of utter hypocrisy, don't you think?

He was just being a campaigner because that's exactly what he is. End of.

Ah right, it's more of a Corrupt Football League rant. Where did I ever say he was only worth an end of first round pick? You do realise I don't represent an amalgamation of every other person you've discussed this topic with? So calling me a hypocrite makes zero sense.

Congrats. You have achieved a high score in polite condescending antagonism.

Good for you.

I didn't say anything about corruption, but there's blatant favouritism in pretty much everything the AFL touches, so it's a further rally against that.

At no point did I say YOU specifically said that, however that was indeed the general consensus from the AFL-affiliated media AND Geelong supporters.

Also, I didn't call you a hypocrite, I said what "fans like you said" smacks of hypocrisy, they are different things.

Anyway, Smith's a campaigner, Geelong bent yet another club over in a trade but "always deal in good faith" (according to majority of their supporters 🙄), and this really isn't the place to discuss this.

Well like I said, I'm not a representative for other Geelong supporters you have discussed Smith's trade value with. So I guess take it up with them? I thought Smith was great value and he has still exceeded expectations so far. I can understand why that annoys you. I don't go on the Doggies board but I have heard it's an obsessive and fiery topic over there.

All I got out of it is that his former club lives rent-free in his head. He has no emotional intelligence and is lacking in maturity Not the first, won't be the last.

All I got out of it was exactly how precious and salty Bulldogs supporters are. No matter what Smith says or does (even simply having a good game), there's a collective Footscray meltdown.

I don't care what he does, but don't you think that at a post-game interview, of an epic game, that he makes a comment about an entirely different game, of no relevance to.him? Why wouldn't he be relishing in the game he has just played in?

He has you talking about it. He's a smart arse, you guys are sensitive and I'm fine with both of those things.
