Gary Rohan was the hero for the Cats, hauling in a colossal pack mark and subsequent goal to put the Cats in front late in the final term, before Jack Crisp levelled the scores with less than three minutes to play.

After a scrappy passage from the ensuing kick-in, Jeremy Cameron delivered a dagger through Magpie hearts when he fired a ball deep inside 50 to Rohan, who fed the ball to an unmarked Max Holmes for the match-winner from inside the goal square.

Sadly Cameron and Holmes are the only remaining heroes from the best Cats/Pies highlights of the past decade.

To be fair, Jack Crisp's winning goal after the siren last year got close.

Tight one from the model. Collingwood by 8-12. Daicos vs a Geelong midfield that has been giving up big scores to opposition players. Cats forward line has been better than expected this season though. Wouldn't be surprised by a Geelong win.

too, which would free de Koning up for more ruck minutes. With J.Henry being a bit out of sorts so far this year, they may even throw his magnet around, allowing for other ruck options (especially Neale). Henry's certainly had some moments at the other end of the ground over his career.

Geelong's defence in general hasn't been great this year and while Collingwood's key forward stocks look somewhat depleted (I feel like Mihocek's always played well against us), the likes of Schultz and Elliott are dangerous.

I think it will be close as it always is. Crucial game for both teams, especially Geelong with a brutal run ahead Brisbane (a), Sydney, Carlton (our bogey team), Adelaide (a), Gold Coast and Fremantle (a) before our next bye. Yikes: 3-3 looks like it would be a great result from those clashes at this stage.

Surely the afl should make this game a pies home game and move next weeks match v Sydney to the MCG so the pies can celebrate scotts record breaking match sooner than later. You know it makes sense.

But umps free kicks will make sure of a cats win here.

Any way as with Pendles ill just play him in a quarter or 2 playing as a forward pocket.
Get a dozen touches and kick a goal or 2.

First half on and off the bench.
Good to see Beau and Howe back.
Like to see Nick rested this game needs a breather.
And might be time for West in as well.
And play Moore up forward get him out of the back line.
