Interesting clash. Surprised to see Geelong are favourites.
Fremantle have a superior midfield, rucks and I would argue a better forward line (given how poor Close & Neale have become) and no Stengle on top of it.
Cameron will be heavily underdone.

Fremantle's midfield will overpower Geelong to win by 3 goals.

Cat are a 10 goal better side than us at GHBAH stadium. Cats by 5 goals.
We're actually pretty poor at KP these days.

Our game is built on speed and transition off turnover, last week not withstanding. The bigger grounds like the 'G and Optus suit our personnel far more these days.

We can still win there with the home crowd and foreign dimensions and such, but it's far from the fortress it once was. Freo should be confident, particularly if last week is a trend rather than an aberration.

Stats prove you wrong. Freo's point for / points against at Kardinia Park equals 69%. Nice.

It's expressed in Perth-speak but my interpretation was that Fremantle are a 5 goal better side than Geelong excluding the venue factor. However GMHBA alone causes a 10 goal swing. So that's how he got to Geelong by 5 goals.
I think GHBAH was my favourite part but it was closely run.

You now have a tremendous midfield and that is Geelong's weakest link. On top of this, we currently have 3 or 4 extremely soft footballers who do not like it when it gets willing. This is a glaring concern which has crept into the side the past couple of years.

Brayshaw, Serong & Young are going to feast against our midfield. You also have an absolute superstar in the making by the name of Murphy Reid.
Watch him accumulate 20 touches & 3 goals (+ 7 score involvements) 😂

Cats are at home, won't go 0-2, and will be angry after their stinker in Game 1.

Reckon the Freo midfield will get on top in this one. Whether they can convert that into sufficient scoring chances is another matter; feels like plenty of sides don’t when they travel to the Cattery.

Anyone’s game, will go Freo in a minor upset.

this will be a extremely interesting clash.
Cats at home up against the up and coming freo.
important for Freo to get off with a win on the road.
