Rory Sloane on 9 News Adelaide sport just now said he expects both Walker and Ah Chee to play.
Said both are well and truly ready.

Yep I saw that holding off the tip if Tex plays Crows for me

The Crows at the G would be a decent shout to do what they did to the Pies early in the season.

Down in Tassie they have a much tougher ask. Hawks should bounce back and win by a few goals. If they don't, then the wheels are falling off.

Probably our best chance for an away victory against a top 4/6 team. Can't even remember our last one. West Coast 2016? Though victory won't really mean much for later in the year as it will come down to who works hardery for longery in freezing conditions.
Sydney 2018.

Oddly, the only top-eight team we beat away in 2017 was Essendon (other than Port, which hardly counts as away).

The last time we beat a top-4 team away from Adelaide was Sydney in 2012.

Yes, both could have played last week & expect both to come in for hamstrung Cumming & possibly ANB so we can rest his knee for a couple of weeks. Thilthorpe not worth risking like the other 2 as not even training yet. Hopefully Nick Murray for Borlase to combat their talls.

Hawks likely to have some very handy ins with Gunston, Choi, Nash & Scrimshaw.

We have played north in Tassie a few times too. Feels like we're there every year between you guys and the Roos.

With it being a channel 7 game, hopefully they have the main camera in a better spot than Fox did on the last game there.
Unlikely, as the stand that used to house the camera crews isn't there anymore.

Second home is a funny thing.

When I say funny thing I mean its not a thing.

You going to move out when Tassie come into the comp?
Cool.....

Sounds like it, after this morning's announcement.

Got to make the most of our 'second home' advantage whilst we've got it then.

Its an interesting discussion. Launceston want football. Would the devils play a few games in Launceston at an updated York park? Or would the AFL/Tas govt step in and say no all home games have to be at our shiny new stadium.

You would assume they will play a couple of home games a year down there.

Would be interesting to have Tasmania v Hawthorn down there given the Hawks popularity in the region.

I hope Hawthorn supporters get right behind the LST economy this weekend. It’s been such a terrific mutual relationship.

LST are renovating UTAS. So they’ll want to get AFL games in future or will need to get an A-League club and more professional cricket games. Otherwise UTAS runs the risk of turning into a white elephant.

Will be a sloppy, ugly affair. Both sides to look below their best. Can actually see an Adelaide upset on the cards if Hawks don't have Gunston, Chol. Hawks are wobbling with issues lacking depth. Hawthorns biggest fault is their inaccurate goal kicking, which Tasmania won't assist. They really should have been putting teams to the sword.

That said, it's Tassie, and they usually win down there. Hawks have almost always had a period of every game letting the opposition walk all over them, given the conditions, likely slippery and dewy, if not downright sodden, it'll probably stem the bleeding making it harder to get maximum use of the ball when in control.
