Lions are in trouble. They'll need to dig deep if they want to get their season back on track.

I'm picking the Suns by 36pts. Too good on their home ground.

No no, Brisbane were apparently angry af after their losses and would be taking it out on Freo on their home deck last week. Since that didn't pan out they will be absolutely seething now and will really be wanting to stamp some authority to demolish their little brother down the highway, to show the footy world the Brisbane footy club are not done with yet!!!

Suns by 30.

If nothing changes at Brisbane I think another shellacking incoming for them, to the tune of about 60.

The only thing that’s changed is we lost another 2 best 23 to injury last week. That’ll be 9 best 23 on the injury list this week. We are true battlers.

Yep rotten luck. I haven't completely written the Lions off for this year, but think they'll need to finish top 6 with most of their best back to near top form to contend for that 3 peat. Freo and Geelong their biggest obstacles, I think they can turn it around against them, its whether they want to enough.

Charlie cameron to kick 4, Ashcroft to play his best game of the year, Harris Andrews to blanket king. Usual service resumes

Sell out crowd should make for a good atmosphere in this one. Not really sure what to make of Brisbane right now because they've proven several times in the last few years that once they get it together, they can beat anyone on their day and mid-season is usually when their good runs of form start.

I think we've rightly been given favouritism for this game, especially given our unbeaten record at Carrara this year. So I've been burnt so many times in previous QClashes... but I'll say I'm quietly confident that we'll win. Suns by 22 points.

This game will tell us a lot about where both teams are and their prospects for the season.

Lions were basically insipid in the last 3 games, not being able to respond after losses with lack of defensive effort, pressure. Is it fatigue due to 8 years of finals, 3 consecutive Grand Finals, short pre-seasons, less hunger, injuries? All above? They did improve in the last quarter against Freo. If they can't find their mojo in Q-Clash it could be a down year for them.

Suns had so far average season and right now are in their Death Valley month after Darwin trip. They played well in the first half against North but then they basically stopped. Losing 43 points lead is really inexcusable. Did they re-charge during bye and will they take it to Lions similarly to last year Q-Clash at PFS? One of major issues for Suns so far this season was midfield. There were some signs in recent games that they are putting their act together there. Rowell and Anderson are finally getting into some form and synergy with Petracca is building.

It could go both ways but I back Suns to respond to North disaster and bring the required effort.

Suns by 23.

Be interested in how the brions respond here ,last chance saloon kinda stuff .

Despite bringer the much less experienced and younger team Freo really bullied the lions last week
Ditto GWS the week before.

See Treacy flooring Ashcroft , Johnson bitch slapping Neale brayshaw ragdolling Rayner whilst Voss slammed Gardiner .

Be interesting if the nepo babies take note of it and also look to boss the brions tonight, knowing they ll more than likely go into their shells

Yeah Freo last week

While I’ve got you, why does the Freo song have to tell the audience who they are? Why does it say ‘we are the Freo dockers’? I’ve always wondered.
