Jagga Smith has fudged the figures for Carlton.

They are really, really bad.

But when Smith gets the ball a lot, they look half decent. He's a really good link player.

Carlton's collapses have coincided with the opposition shutting him down, and him not getting the ball.

Swallow went to him after half time, and again Carlton capitulated.and just couldn't move the pill.

Was great for Swallow to come on the second half to do a job on Smith. Surprised he didn't get a carried off for his 250th as well.

Does Carlton go in at quarter time think oh it's over we got it, let's put the Q in the rack... either that or they are extremely unfit for 4 quarters, I shouldn't go too hard because we are pathetic as well we couldn't beat this team that were their for the taking...

Looked like Melbourne wouldn't kick a goal the entire first half. Snuck one in just before the break. End up scoring 100 and winning comfortably. You couldn't make it up at this point. Carlton and how they play is a complete disaster and has been since half way through 2024.

Cripps has been a great contested player but a terribly unskilled and unthreatening kick, very slow and a questionable leader. Carlton's flops under him as he provides little resistance have stacked up over the years. Not a winner.

So he looks like Tarzan and plays like Jane?

Wasn't that long ago that main board Hawthorn threads were full of Carlton fans telling us how rebuilds should be done, and that we were doing it all wrong. I had to admit at the time, that Carlton fans know more about rebuilds than any other supporter group, maybe they'll get one right eventually. Hopefully this game is the nail in the "we know how it is done" coffin.
