Really should be beating them handily, will be a big day for our forwards again. Treacy may kick 10.

The wild card here is the weather. Former Cyclone Narelle heading for the Kimberley and then most predictions are it will head out to the Indian Ocean before heading back inland (potentially at Tropical Storm levels) making land around the Midwest middle of the week; but leading to significant rain and winds for Perth on Friday/Saturday. Current forecast is 30mm of rain on Saturday - most of it in the afternoon when the game will be on.

If the oval floods we are a chance, have a few very good swimmers in the team.

no Lynch, Nank or Broad who are all taking a seat in the stands.
Things could get messy for the young tigers very quickly

Freo by a point after Mundy is called out of retirement at half time to kick the winner.

I think Optus stadium will be available from 9.30 on Sunday, should have cleared up by then
Moving the match to Sunday afternoon at Optus would be preferable
Or to Adelaide on Saturday?

'In a statement, the AFL said they were “closely monitoring and will continue to do so over the next few days”.
Fremantle have been contacted for comment, while Optus Stadium directed enquiries to the AFL.'

Saw that.

It won't be a cyclone when the system reaches that far south
It wont but it's highly unusual to still be a cat 2 Cyclone almost hitting as far down as Geraldton 😲. Going by that track map it would still be a weakened cat 1 cyclone hitting Geraldton. High winds and heavy rain will likely impact Perth to some degree, as forecast. Things can change quickly though so who knows.
