If we were 9.3 Kingy wouldn’t be harping on and on about ruck taps to advantage as much. Our rucks aren’t making our forwards spray their shots at goal. Darcy has been average and the only tall taking any marks out there today is Treacy, so of course they’ve been inefficient. The inaccuracy and dumb footy are bigger issues today.

Call it cocky but Richmond don't worry me at all, still don't think they're within a chance.

Darcy has gotten better this week and continues to build, O'Meara has been good on return so far, conversion is failing is though, need to fix it up.

2 late goals spare the blushes of some very soft and brainless footy. A better side could have blown us out of the water by now

Are more players having touchless halves these days?

Goose eggs for Harry Armstrong.
Probably tracks with the fact benches have 5 players now

That's the thing.

They've gotten away with it because it's Richmond.

If they were a stronger opponent, would they be doing such dumb shit with the ball like they are this game?

If not, why? Should play the same way against everyone.

Feels like Longmuir hasn't prepared them properly IMO.

I liked the first half from us. Really good pressure. Missed some chances, but so have Freo. Frustratingly, we should probably be ahead. Lalor is so good to watch.

I'm going to be legitimately depressed though if Alger has done an ACL. So ****ing sick of our young players getting injured every week for months or for a whole year. I know he wasn't an early pick, but he's pretty skillful and was doing well in the VFL. I'm just so over our kids' seasons and potentially careers being impacted by injuries all the time.

Is it just me or Faull has a bit of the Vickery about him?
It's just you. Faull is an almost perfect opposite of Vickery. Vickery was a soft player who preferred getting it in space whose one big virtue was his kicking for goal. Faull is great at making contests and crashing packs, but is challenged as a kicker.

Watching this game so far, I think West Coast will be licking there licks for their "home" game against Freo in 3 weeks.
Providing not too many of their key players are injured.

I've been impressed with Richmond in the first half and it's a big free hit in the second half
