Yes, and the last 2 years we beat Collingwood when we had most of our best players with victory margins of 52 and 32 points.

What were your expectations up to this point?

0-4,1-3, 2-2, 3-1 or 4-4

I would have thought 2-2 or 3-1.

I thought 2-2 as Hawthorn, Bulldogs and Collingwood were all going to contend for the finals, with St Kilda also in the periphery of the final hunt. However, with injuries to our 8 players who would be in our starting lineup, 1-3 is not too bad. Our next 6 games are against 4 teams not generally regarded as final contenders this year (Richmond/ North/ West Coast/ Essendon) so we should win those 4 games, and with our returning stars ideally win 1 of the 2 tough games (Sydney and Gold Coast). Even if we don’t, a 5-5 record still has us in finals contention given it’s a 10 team final series now?
