Got a few out and lost all 3 games by under 2 goals. I think they be ok.
Losing the close ones at home is never a good sign for a contender. 1-3 puts you on the back foot early. Geelong, Fremantle and the Bulldogs all smashed them in general play for long periods.

The Crows have now lost 4 home games in a row I.e every time a decent team came to town.

They might make the top 6 but it's naive to call it likely right now.

The Crows are the best team in the competition! They are being dudded by horrible umpiring, an AFL that doesn’t care they are one of the biggest clubs and only cares about making sure smaller clubs are advantaged by DEI policies that keep AFL in the dirt! Anyone who thinks the coaching is bad has Nicks Derangement Syndrome (NDS) and is completely wrong! Adelaide are not 1-3, they have actually won more games than they have lost and should be given this years trophy because they are already the best team in the comp! Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Hutchy, I can only get so aroused! I agree with all of this!

Feels like the Crows are incredibly unlucky to be 1-3.
In what way?

Outplayed in their two losses prior to tonight and Freo should have buried them in the third with Treacy, Amiss and Voss all missing easy shots early in the 3rd.

We were lucky to hold on but you can't be upset about winning against another finals fancy, good teams get it done regardless.

Swings and roundabouts. Could have beaten Geelong down there, got away with one tonight. 1-1 probably fair across those games.

Freo are in it up to their eyeballs. Outside of Brisbane I have them and GC as the biggest flag threats this year.

Nothing unlucky about it.

20 minutes of good footy against the Dogs, outcoached by Scott in the last quarter last week and the selection of utter turnips such as R.O.B and Jones came back to bite tonight.

The Crows' record in close games speaks for itself, and that's a trend rather than luck.

Really think Adelaide finishing top and losing back to back at home really threw them.

General play? No.
Bulldogs were ahead by 20 points
Geelong were always going to win.
Fremantle were 34 points up at one stage.

That’s where they should be tbh.

I don't want to be mean and single anyone out...
But....

...Chayce Jones bad name is the least of his problems.. He's absolutely terrible at football.

How is he on a list still?

Crows aren't top 6 list if this guy is getting a game.

Nicks needs to address the psychological damage the players incurred from being minor premiers to going out in straight sets, last year. He's probably brushed it under the rug, but it's clearly humiliated the group to the point they're back to losing close games again.

Only thing they cant do is run a camp.

When in essence the outcomes were the same with similar play patterns. Freo and Geelong both should have buried Adelaide but poor goal kicking kept them in it. So while some can argue unlucky to be 1-3 it could be argued they we lucky not to be well beaten in the last two games.
