Got my tickets and car park ready. For all the complaints about Marvel, the ability for spectators to drive in and out in the comfort of your own car is hard to beat.

With Xerri likely to be out, I'll tip Carlton.

Agree on all of the above. I am doing the same thing

Feeling very conflicted over here, love seeing North in the eight but in no great hurry at all to see Voss sacked either.

Voss was a great player, but coaching not his greatest strength. Has had a few great finals wins but his teams have lacked consistently. I think they will make the right decision to move him on and I hope Adelaide does the same with Nicks eventually.

North are the underdogs surprisingly
this is the true fork in the road of all things Carlton since its remodelling of 2022.
Lose this and the "era" is all gone.
And time for a full rebuild.
Put a fork in it for the season.
And time to scratch the bottom of the barrel for the remainder of the season.
Win it just prolongs it just another week.
Kicking the can down the road for another week.
Rinse repeat.
Minus well do it this game.

No idea who wins this, although until now I've said Carlton by a lot. Carlton should win comfortably, but they are Carlton and they are under Voss (probably at least until Friday, no guarantee).
If one side is leading by 5-6 goals at 3/4 time, the other team will be pretty confident. That is the nature of the Shit The Bed Trophy.

The media aren’t raving about us “finally turning the corner” this week.

I’m confident we’ll be too good for the blues on Friday. 20 points.

Well Carlton can play for the first two quarters. The latter two is another story entirely though!

The Roos managed to just about scrap their way to victory over an Essendon team who are even worse than us.

So taking all this into account Carlton might get over the line here although it's blatantly obvious that Vossy's number as Carlton coach is almost up at this stage.

He spent five seasons coaching the Brisbane Lions and almost five coaching Carlton at this stage.

So that's approaching ten seasons as a head coach at AFL level for just the one solitary prelim final appearance.

We are there for the taking with Xerri missing. A win here with another team being bashed by media all week and maybe we are starting to grow up.
Most likely a Blues win that gets them back on track if recent history is any guide. They smash us at Marvel
