"Kane McAuliffe big upside" We're just saying anything
Part of what made JR a respected WWE caller was even in the scripted world of pro wrestling, he'd happily call a fight "bowling shoe ugly".

Not getting that in this era of broadcast/promotional overlap.

Any chance Yze gets the blowtorch soon?

I get their list is a fair way off, and lost a host of senior players to help rebuild, but there's not much semblance of a game plan or direction.

Such a weird game really. Port clearly the better team by far on the day.....but seemed content to coast along for 70-80% of the time.

Virtually all their goals came in 5 minute bursts early in quarters, then everyone just plodded along until the next break.

What………. tiggers lost?

Had been listening to the Fox commentary from the TV room whilst doing some painting and genuinely thought Port must have got pumped by all the tiggers young superstars.

Plus, surely Allir Allir will be forced out of the game with immediate effect!

Crows get 48k on Good Friday, Tiges with 100k members get 30k on Easter Saturday and its a good crowd considering its Easter apparently, lol.
B b b but but but “tiger army”

I genuinely have very little sympathy for teams that clearly have chosen to bottom out as if it somehow guarantees an era, or further special treatment after "all they've [intentionally] been through".

Odd little moment when Mitch Georgiades was interviewed on SEN just then.

When asked about the coach, he said, "We love Ken. I'm not saying that 'Carry' doesn't do what Ken does, but Ken was next level."

Just an odd deflection.

Imagine paying money to listen to Kelli, Derwayne and Healy.

The standard of AFL media coverage is deadset embarrassing.

Way too bloated and comfortable.

It's not an army these days, it's more like a platoon.

Gameplan isn't working.
Can't get his side on the field however and we dont yet have the depth to cover 3 in 3 out every week.

Blowtorch would come in 2027 if we had a better team on the park.

That call back to the mark is an interesting one. It's best just to allow the player told to stand to run to the player who marked it if he is forward of the mark.

Should just be play on. Players know where the mark is, want to intentionally just walk past then just call in on umps.

I can’t remember the tiges ever putting banners over the seats to hide the shit crowds as you have done
Coming from a North fan. Your club has spent most of the last few years getting smaller crowds than Port's tarps years when you're playing an interstate side.

Relying on away fans to hide your embarrassment.

I don't think these excuses can keep getting rolled out.

The Tigers are going through large parts of games without a sniff of a goal on a regular basis.

Some veterans declines are being felt, whereas they buffered things in 2025.

They have too many old and/or slow plodders with poor skills + decision making.

There isn't a coherent, effective gameplan in place. It isn't clear what the long term vision is.

We have never I repeat never put banners over our seats to hide the the fact that no one was there

In fact name me one other club that has resorted to putting banners over their seats to hide that their crowds were shit
