Adelaide will win but unconvincingly. But losing may be better. I'll tip us by 15 points in an ugly low scoring affair.

big thur night stage.
these are the occasions Carlton melt, nowhere to hide.
There is a lot of pressure on Voss/club in general but I doubt a win against crows in Adelaide would have been viewed as a remote possibility.

we had our chances against Dee’s and Roos and scraped through with a close win against your mob (thanks to lynch poor kicking).

Not looking good up until Essendon game at least.

Adelaide can't move the ball forward and have no reliable avenue to goal. 2025 was the year where our defence would bomb it to Curtin/Dawson/Thriller playing 1 out on the wing and they would win 3/4 contests and out we'd go. This year that isn't happening and we look stagnant and slow.

Curtin and Keane being out has made a bigger impact than we'd like to admit. The replacements have been wholly uninspiring, bordering on insipid (Laird, Bond, Jones, Nank, etc) as our usual backups are also out (e.g. Hinge and Murray).

The list of "playing injured" unfortunately includes our other irreplaceable players (Dawson, Rankine, Thriller) and other reliable members of our starting line-up (Soligo, Fog, Walker). And then the sporadic random injuries to who we'd hope would be regular players this year has been unfortunate (Cumming, Draper, Ah Chee).

This is a danger game and we won't win by as much as we should.

Crows by only 90+

How many for Ben Keays?

Hmm…….Weitering out, who are Carlton’s backs most likely to contain Thilthy and Tex?
Carlton’s most likely goal scorers…..McKay, McGovern, Pittonet? Yes Keane and Butts are out but Worrall is in AA form and Murray down back playing well also along with Milera with 2 BOG’s in 4 games.
Could be closer than many think…….?

It could be a game where we release our frustrations, everything goes right for us and we win by close to 100. Nicks is labelled as a messiah. And then proceed to spud it up against St Kilda and Brisbane the weeks after.

Adelaide been a bit unlucky this year, though part of the deal finishing top 4 from last year (at the end of home and away). You're going to get a tougher draw. Unfortunately Adelaide have been at the wrong end of the close games which maybe crucial come seasons end. Percentage also matters and Adelaide need to put on a big score. I don't think it will be a blood bath but should still be a comfortable 35 point win.

Crows by 60+

We have lost t Geelong in geelong by 8 points. Bulldogs by 6, Freo by 2. All very good teams. Carlton not so much so we should beat them easily
