Was probably scheduled for next year but had to rush it out after Cripps won the Brownlow.

Will they be releasing the beta build? Or will the retail version actually be the version that the streamers got to play before the game was released?

Is the Xbox version going to be available before the end of 2025?

Beta build has been out since May 2023. You just had to pay $100 to be a tester.

That's the last place you'll find any information. They routinely have their games leak through play tests with sports teams. They routinely won't even show gameplay until moments before their games release.

It's all deliberate.

Now one would like to think that with an existing game base they'll iterate and improve it, but judging by how some are saying '23 still is... I won't hold my breath too much, but here's hoping.

I’ll always buy AFL games but I hope the contested game has improved dramatically
AFL23 gameplay had improved heaps tbf but contested gameplay or lack there of was always my biggest gripe

yea i remember when they had that afl 23 launch thingy i noted in one of the afl 23 threads i found it concerning how they just kept talking about pro teams and said for a first entry they should focus on the single player modes and well GAMEPLAY and fixing the online can be a 2nd entry thing but they only talked about pro teams and look at how that turned out so lets hope they have learnt there mistakes this time

Could be coming still. Seems like JB maybe jumped the gun given no official press release.

No PC version would have big ramifications for the logo creators. Can't upload SVGs on console so it would really cripple the Academy unless they put out a standalone Academy like Cricket has.
